Jodi Pratt is Principal of Jodi Pratt & Associates, a risk consulting service that specializes in fraud and operating risk management for the financial services industry. Her consulting practice focuses on assisting financial institutions with the construction of fraud mitigating infrastructures and new technology solutions, and the education of banking professionals and service providers on fraud and fraud management. Jodi also provides expert support to attorneys for case development and testimony in the areas of bank operations and risk management.
Jodi has more than 30 years of experience, 19 with Bank of America's retail bank operations and technology development units, and has served 4 years as Managing Principal - Risk Management Practice, with Carreker Corporation. Her retail bank experience includes branch, call center and related operations management, and M&A business integration. She directed the development of Bank of America's first fraud risk management infrastructure, which would become a leading edge Liability Risk Management Division.
A leader and pioneer in financial fraud management, Jodi has guided fledgling industry and technology efforts over the past 15 years, many of which have grown into robust national, shared utilities in fraud and risk management including: the American Bankers Association Survey and regional studies, the Early Warning Services’ Identity Chek and Deposit Chek products, SoftPro’s “FraudOne” effort, and the BITS Fraud Working Group. She continues to innovate, working with image recognition and biometric solution providers as they develop new fraud prevention capabilities for emerging needs.
